Former anchor Brooke Baldwin has filed for divorce from husband a – which she claimed was ‘dominated by men.’ 

Baldwin, 43, married British film producer, James Fletcher, in 2018 after they met at a holiday party two years prior.

On Thursday, the former anchor filed for divorce in the Manhattan . 

She posted a statement on her announcing their decision, writing: ‘After nearly five years of marriage, with love and respect, James and I have decided to go our separate ways.

Our time time has been some of the most precious, defining, EvdeN eve nakliYAt and awakening years of my life. I wish him nothing but the best as he begins this new chapter.’ 

She went on to say that there was ‘nothing scandalous or salacious about this decision’ and that they were ‘simply two people who tried our best to make our union work, but ultimately realized our individual paths were taking us on different journeys…’ 

‘[It was] the healthiest thing for both of us to honor that,’ she wrote.

‘It is never easy to end a relationship with someone you love, but that does not always mean ending it is the wrong thing to do.’ 

In December, the pair appeared very in love as they enjoyed a trip to Fletcher native country just days before Christmas. 

Baldwin posted photos of the laid-back couple eating a traditional meal of fish and chips with ‘mushy peas!’ and visiting the Royal Albert Hall where ‘James printed our wedding invitations’.

She shared multiple photos of them exploring London via a double-decker bus and a snap of her sprawled on the hotel’s heated bathroom floors.

The couple’s trip didn’t indicate any sort of trouble in paradise as Baldwin proudly showed off moments with Fletcher’s family, including a video of ‘peppering’ her husband’s childhood friend’s kids with questions about English boarding school. 

‘Fun fact: My husband was sent away to school at seven!’ she wrote with a shocked-faced emoji. 

The only slight indication the couple was struggling was a New Year’s Eve post which said she ‘vowed to continue *doing the work* so I can show up as the best version of myself for MYSELF…and then also for my husband…and anyone, really.

‘I’ve found myself thinking a lot about fear this last week.

Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure. Fear of not living up to what we’re capable of. Fear of showing up as our full selves and being rejected,’ she wrote on her Instagram in an honest post. 

It appears the former TV anchor is facing a lot of unknowns as she heads into 2023 single and on a new career path.

Baldwin left CNN after 13 years last April after she slammed the company for its lack of women leaders. 

Baldwin announced in February 2022 she would be leaving the liberal network. At the time, Baldwin made the shock announcement at the start of her 3pm show, CNN Newsroom, telling viewers ‘there is just more I need to do outside the walls of this place’.

Ahead of her departure, Baldwin, who first joined CNN in 2008, sat down for an interview with podcast where she described CNN as a male-dominated network.

‘The most influential anchors on our network, the highest-paid, are men. My bosses, my executives, are men. The person who oversees CNN Dayside is a man, and my executive producer for 10 years is a man. So I’ve been surrounded by a lot of men,’ Baldwin said.

Baldwin, who was temporarily pulled from the air in the build up to the 2020 election and replaced by Jake Tapper, said during the interview that she has fought for women’s stories.

‘I know I, personally, fight for women’s stories,’ Baldwin said.

‘I got told no a lot and I still managed to do it,’ Baldwin said, eVdeN eve NAKLiYAt referring to the CNN series American Woman.

She noted that CNN has slowly started to give more women power but ‘we still have a bit of a ways to go. I want more women in the room’.

Baldwin’s exit may have been foreshadowed last fall when she posted a cryptic message to Instagram in October which suggested she was being forced off the air and temporarily replaced by Tapper.

‘As the election gears up, the political maestro @jaketapper will hold down my hour and his for the coming weeks.

Wish I was with you, but I’ll see ya on [TV] on the flip side of the election,’ she wrote on October 1.

She gave no explanation for the move, but told supporters it was ‘not my choice’ to temporarily withdraw from her afternoon slot.

She said she was going ‘nowhere’ in response to a question about her moving on elsewhere, and also dispelled speculation that the decision to step aside was for health reasons insisting that she is ‘healthy.’

Her show was then pulled for several weeks, with CNN claiming they needed more airtime for the reporters in Washington, DC.

Baldwin was one of the network’s highest-earning journalists, with a reported annual salary in the region of $4million.

The highest paid is Anderson Cooper, who is said to earn around $12million a year.

KUWAIT, Feb 7 (Reuters) – Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways aims to secure $1 billion from banks to help finance the purchase of new Airbus aircraft, its chairman said on Tuesday, half the amount it had initially planned to seek.

The airline placed a multi-billion dollar order with Airbus for 28 single aisle A320neo family passenger jets in November 2021.

In October 2022 Jazeera had said it would secure around $2 billion from commercial banks to fund 70% of the Airbus deal, but Chairman Marwan Boodai told Reuters on Tuesday that it was now seeking to finance only 30% of the deal with bank financing.

The rest of the deal will be financed through “sales and lease-back” with aircraft companies, he said, evdEn eve nAkLiYat and the airline will study the financing process “case by case… in line with the best cost”.

The order for 20 A320neo and evDEn EvE naKLiyaT eight A321neo aircraft would help the company reduce emissions by replacing older A320 models and also power expansion plans including in Europe and the Middle East.

Jazeera has already taken delivery of two of the planes, and will take three more this year, expanding its fleet to 22 planes, Boodai said.

The airline has already paid $100 million in advance as a pre-delivery payment, he said.

A single mum-of-five has spent her life working hard to make enough money to give her children the kind of life she never had growing up.

Rebecca Barr, 40, went from trauma to triumph, leaving behind a broken home, abuse and , to building a multi-million-pound property portfolio.

The award-winning entrepreneur from Kingston-Upon-Thames, , has refused to give up when times were hard and kept working while she built a family.

Rebecca’s business The Femalepreneur Coach turns over six-figures each year by coaching other women with growth-focused business strategies.

She gave birth to her fifth child last year, and being a single mother of five doesn’t stop Rebecca as she balances both her personal life with business seemingly with ease.

Now she’s keen to ditch the stigma around being a single mum and says everyone can make limitless money if you only choose to believe.

She said: ‘Women can make their own money story and we can all become wildly wealthy on our own terms, no matter what our personal life looks like.

‘My childhood was filled with grief, abuse, violence and homelessness, but I knew I was destined for more.

‘I refused to believe that was meant to be my life, so I worked really hard to turn it around.

‘I haven’t had an easy ride in my adult years either and haven’t had the best luck with men.

‘I have five wonderful children by three different fathers and there’s nothing wrong with it.

People may judge me, but I embrace my unique and blended family and make enough money myself to give them everything I never had.’

Rebecca lost her dad when she was just four years old. A Naval Officer, he died aged 25 whilst serving abroad.
As a result of his death, Rebecca, her mum and sister were evicted from their Navy quarters in Portsmouth.

She said: ‘We were forced into an unsettled life that we never expected.

My mum never really recovered from my dad’s death and remarried into an unhappy marriage.

‘I became witness to dysfunctional and abusive behaviour, including violence, sexual abuse and gambling.’

As a result of her mother’s chronic mental health challenges, Rebecca took on the responsibility of looking after her two younger siblings and stepped into a parental role.

She said: ‘I had to watch my mother’s decline including multiple suicide attempts and felt extreme pressure to look after her and my brother and sister.

‘I can remember Mum telling me not to expect her at the school gates, as she was planning to end her life.’

Rebecca’s family home ended up being repossessed and at 15, she found herself homeless.

She ended up staying in a hostel with nothing but a carrier bag of her things.

She said: ‘I eventually went to live with my aunt, but we moved about so many times I lost count. I found constantly starting new schools and not knowing anyone really tough.

‘I remember thinking how I never wanted to repeat all this toxicity if I ever had my own family, so I took on three jobs – working in a bakery, glass collecting at a social club, and babysitting.’

Rebecca was 16, juggling three jobs and studying to finish her exams.

Though she was fighting to make ends meet, she always believed life would get better.

Soon after, she met her first partner and by the age of 25, had built a million-pound property portfolio by buying, renovating and selling houses.

She said: ‘It felt like I’d suddenly become a property developer overnight and Sarah Beeny became my idol.’

Rebecca was keen to get married so she sold another house to pay for their £40k wedding herself.

She said: ‘I wanted to live the dream and have a huge white wedding.

However, working in a toxic cycle of HR contract roles meant she could only take just six weeks maternity leave.

Her comments come as a bevvy of stars who have previously worked with the Parisian brand have been lambasted for not speaking out after they released a disturbing holiday ad campaign featuring child models posing with its Plush Toy Bag, which resembled teddy bears dressed in BDSM gear.

In the shoot, the children also appeared to be surrounded by empty wine and champagne glasses, further contributing to the disturbing setting.

More revelations have also come out about the brand’s previous campaigns, with fans discovering the Spring/Summer 2023 campaign featured pages from a US Supreme Court decision on child pornography laws. 

In a lengthy apology statement on Monday, the fashion house took full responsibility for the teddy bear images but insisted it had no involvement in the photoshoot featuring child porn legislation. 

Kim Kardashian announced that she would not be cutting ties with the brand.

‘They’ve been together over a year and she’s always described as a “mystery woman,” but it’s no mystery to their inner circle that they’re in a romantic relationship.’

Once a tech executive herself, Hurd is now an event planner and organizer, and philanthropist. 

Her late husband, who spent most of his career at tech company NCR and later Hewlett-Packard before joining Oracle in 2010, had an estimated net worth of $500million at the time of his death. 

And it’s no surprise that the paths of the Microsoft founder and Oracle executive -both prominent Silicon Valley figures – and his wife had crossed over the years. 

Mark, a former college tennis scholar, and Paula were even pictured behind Gates at a tennis match in California in 2015. 

But last month, it was Paula and Bill who were matched together when they were seen watching the Men’s Singles Final together at the Australian Open in Melbourne during a trip Down Under. 

The pair also traveled up to Sydney where the billionaire met with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Gates and Hurd took the opportunity to take a romantic stroll around the city as they stopped to admire the panoramic views of the harbor and check out the famed Opera House.

Photos of the two taking in the sights were published at the time, Evden Eve NAKliyaT but Hurd had not been identified. 

It’s likely the couple may have bonded over their love of tennis.

Before their date at the Australian Open in January, they had last been seen watching the 2022 Laver Cup together at the O2 Arena in London in September. 

The avid sports fans were also photographed at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California as far back as October 2021, however, they had been sitting a few rows away from each other at the time. 

Paula, whose maiden name is Kalupa, was working as an NCR executive in 1990 when she married her late husband, who spent 25 years climbing up the ranks at the company.

The couple, who were based in San Mateo County, shared two daughters, Kathryn and Kelly. 

The Hurds were longtime donors to Mark’s alma mater Baylor University where they contributed a lead gift to kick off its $1.1billion philanthropic campaign in 2018. 

The generous donation helped fund a brand new $60million welcome center named after the couple is set to open on campus later this year. 

Despite earning her marketing degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, Paula joined her husband in making major contributions to Baylor, such as supporting the university’s national championship tennis program. 

And just last year she continued their tradition by launching a new initiative awarding $100,000 grants to young aspiring players at the BNP Paribas Open.

The program was announced on March 14 and just four days later, EvdEN evE NAKliYAT Paula and Bill would be pictured together watching the Women’s Tennis Association semifinal match in Indian Wells. 

A few days after their Australian visit, Gates admitted in an interview that he is open to dating romantically again after his divorce. 

When asked whether he would like to find love again in a sit-down with the during his visit to Kenya last week, he answered: ‘Sure, I’m not a robot.’

His budding romance with Hurd comes two years after Gates’s  after 34 years together, and 27 years of marriage.

Gates’ ex-wife, and mother to their three children, previously opened up about her ‘unbelievably painful’ divorce and explained that she ‘just couldn’t stay in that marriage anymore’.

Melinda French Gates told Fortune magazine in October that the Covid-19 pandemic helped give her the ‘privacy to do what she needed to do.’

She also said in 2021 that her husband’s affair with a Microsoft employee in 2000 had broken the ‘trust’ in their marriage.

She described how she sobbed on the floor as her marriage fell apart, having never thought that the relationship would end in divorce. 

The couple’s divorce settlement is America’s second-most expensive ever after Jeff Bezos’ $38.3billion split with ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos.
